The total budget for JASSO in FY2008 is JPY 982.5 billion.  The cost of each program is estimated to be JPY 962.9 billion for scholarship loan programs, JPY 13.1 billion for international student support programs and JPY 100.0 million for student support programs, as well as JPY 6.4 billion for other expenses.
