| The Kaetsu Educational Foundation has maintained its role as a leader in women's education since its foundation in 1903 as the first private commercial school for girls in Japan. In 2001, the Foundation took a further step in its proud tradition, also opening its doors to men, with the establishment of Kaetsu University.Kaetsu University comprises of the College of Management and Economics, which offers four-year courses to men and women students, and the College of Management and Information Technology, which offers two-year courses to women students only. Our four-year courses include courses in economics, management, accounting and information technology, while our two-year courses offer training in computing, accounting and aspects of the service industry. The approach in both colleges draws on Kaetsu's proud 100-year tradition of practical teaching. All students are trained in practical language, computer and accounting skills, making them highly employable graduates who back-up their skills with the ability to think creatively and act with responsibility. |
