Profile
Our college was founded based on a Christian philosophy. Its goal is to prepare a nurse who is not only proficient and knowledgeable in the science of nursing practice but also is a caring well-rounded individual. Our college prepares nurses who respect others as well as themselves and endevor at all times to promote mutual understanding and public welfare through active participation in society.

Environment
Our college is located near Ginza, Akashi-cho (Formerly Tsukiji)near the banks of the Sumida River between Kachidoki Bridge and Tsukudaohashi bridge. The Tsukiji district was the cradle of modern culture in Japan and today is still rich in historical interest. At the entrance of the college there still exists a stone monument commemorating the beginning of Western studies.

In 2002, the St.Luka's Reserch Center for Nursing Practice Development was established to support collaboration in reserch among clinicians, faculty, graduate students, both locally and internationally.

There are clubs and school-wide activities(e.g, a sports day college festival), and also a student council that provides avoice for students with concerns and special interests.
