| Tokyo Kasei Gakuin was founded in 1927 by Mrs.Sumi Oh-e who was educated at one of the colleges of the University of London. Emphasizing moral education as well as intellectual training, she advocated the KVA spirit, namely the acquisition of Knowledge, Virtue and Arts. Tokyo Kasei Gakuin is now a university consisting of the Faculty of Home Economics and the Faculty of Humanities, along with a graduate course in human life science. The courses which foreign students have taken so far are Japanese Culture, Culture & Arts, Social Work, Culture & Information, Housing & Planning, Home Economics. |
