| Profile |
| Kumamoto Gakuen University (KGU) is a one-campus, medium-sized, co-ed, private institution, which was established as the Institute of Oriental Languages in 1942. The origin can be further traced back to the Kumamoto Overseas Association which was founded in 1918. The names of these predecessors indicate the historic importance of internationalism at KGU. We still have that heritage, offering many foreign languages, and also various international programs, with which over 200 students go abroad every year. |
