Kagoshima Immaculate Heart University is a new university for women which started in April 1st, 1994. The university takes an interdisciplinary, holistic approach to education, based on the underlying principles of Christian humanism. It has two faculties and four departments

Our campus is located in the north-western part of Kagoshima and has been given a lot of support by the local government, Satsumasendai-shi, with the population of 100,000. We can assure you of a very meaningful and quiet 4-year study.

Popular campus events include Lily Festival (school festival), freshmen welcome party. There is a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including volunteer work (Leo Club), cheer leading, boat, table-tennis, Kimono manners, drama, flower arrangement (kouzan), (ikenobo), etc.
