JASSO held Japan Education Fair (Inter-University Exchange Program: Europe) as described below.


1. Objective

The Fair is designed to provide international exchange programme administrators attending the 20th EAIE (European Association for International Education) Annual Conference with information about participating Japanese universities, as well as to promote networking among exchange partner universities and institutions through exchanges with the conference participants and active participation in the conference.

6. Content of the Fair

Ms. Suzuki, the Executive Director of ICIE, gave a presentation about student exchange.(1) In the stand of “Study in Japan”, the participants gave advice to conference attendees concerning their educational system, educational programmes, and admission procedures, etc., and provided consultation about the future partnership in order to promote international exchange of students and institutions

(2) In the JASSO stand, the participants provided brochures, prospectus, and syllabi etc., and broadly introduced the Japanese universities to conference attendees.

(3) The participants joined in the workshops and the sessions of the conference, and transmitted and collected information actively.
