JASSO held Japan Education Fair (Higher Education Fairs) in Malaysia as described below.


1. Objective

This Fair is designed to provide Malaysian students and educators attending FACON Education Fair organized by Facon Exhibitions with up-to-date and correct information about the Japanese higher education, and research by the participating institutions and organizations in order to help the students select appropriate schools and achieve their academic pursuits, thereby promoting study in Japan.

5. Program, Service, and Responsibility of Exhibitors

Japan Education Fair 2007 (Malaysia) (1) Reference service and distribution of school brochures
In the area of 'Study in Japan', exhibitors showed reference materials and distributed school catalogs and brochures
(2) Individual consultation
Universities, professional training colleges and Japanese language institutes participating in the Fair gave advice to people who intend to study in Japan concerning their educational system, educational programmes, admission procedures, and characteristics, etc. and also provided information about the future partnership between Japanese and Malaysian institutions. Other exhibiting organizations provided information about their programs for consultation.
(3) Orientation
DVD presentation for studying in Japan by JASSO, explanation of Japanese Government Scholarship by Embassy of Japan in Malaysia, and presentation by former international students who have studied in Japan
