JASSO held Japan Education Fair (Inter-University Exchange Program) in North America as described below.


1. Objective

The Fair is designed to provide international exchange program administrators attending the 63rd NAFSA Annual Conference with information about participating Japanese universities, as well as to promote networking among exchange partner universities and institutions through exchanges with the conference participants and positive involvement to the conference.

5. Content of the Fair

(1) Individual consultation
In the Booth of “Study in Japan”, Universities participating in the Fair gave advice to people who attended 63rd NAFSA Annual Conference concerning their educational system, educational programs, admission procedures, and characteristics, etc. and also provided information about the future partnership between Japanese universities and the U.S. and Canadian institutions. Other exhibiting organizations provided information about their programs for consultation.

(2) Providing information
In the booth, Universities participating in the Fair provided brochures of universities, curriculums, recruiting outlines and so on, and broadly informed the Universities in Japan to the participants.


(3) Exchange information
Participants actively joined in workshops and sessions of the annual conference, and also transmitted and collected information positively.
