My time in Gakuyukai.
A rigorous curriculum expertly designed to guide you to fluency within no time, small classes to give you adequate time with the experienced teachers, and people from all over the world; a guaranteed recipe for enjoyable classes and a chance to meet many different kinds of people. The short excursions and frequent cultural exchange meetings planned to ease you into the culture proves how much this place is committed to not just your learning but also making your stay in Japan pleasant.
In Gakuyukai I found more than just a school, I found a home far away from home.
Thanks to this school, I got off to a good start in Japan. I appreciate great what the teachers in this school did for me.
They always think for us, do for us and work hard for us.
The three points why I recommend this school to you:
1. The teachers in this school take care of us in all aspects from study to daily life, so we can put our all heart into study.
2. This school is the best Japanese education institute in Japan. I mastered the correct grammar of Japanese and a large vocabulary under in a short period of one year. I also took the course of mathematics, physics, chemistry, history, social science , which helped me a lot at the entrance examination for entering university. If you are considering enter a Japanese university after finishing the Japanese course, I recommend this school to you to the utmost.
3. Besides the classes, we also had travels, parties, various events to enjoy, which provide me a good chance to have a glance at the Japanese culture , make friends, and lead a full and happy life.
I started learning Japanese language, at the International Students Institute. I still remember my first day at the language school. I could not understand a single word that teacher said. I was wondering what to do, then I realized, that the class was so much fun. All the credits goes to the teacher who made it enjoyable for us to learn Japanese. Apart from Japanese language I could learn Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and English at the ISI, which was very helpful for me after on, at the university.
Most of all ISI consists of teachers that support us, and who wish our success for the bottom of their hearts. I am so glad that I got the opportunity to learn at the ISI, and I am proud of being a student there.
Hello everybody. I am Erick from Mexico. I graduated from Japanese school on March 2003. When I begin to think about the time I studied in ISI, I feel nostalgic and it just comes to my mind the idea of going back to that time. That was a great time for me; it became not only a good memory but also a part of my growth as student and as person.
I remember a lot of things like the kindness of the teachers, the cheerfulness of my friends, the valuable and countless experiences, etc, but there were two things I was deeply impressed, and it was the professors teaching and the cultural exchange between people.
I cannot forget the enthusiastic way the teachers gave us class, always with a smile in their faces. Even now I am grateful for the good influence they became for me not only in the Japanese, but also in my habits and ways of living.
And also I think that the cultural exchange in this is school is so great. There is a great exchange not only with Japanese people, but with a lot of people from different countries. And because of good experiences like traveling together, a lot of contests and tournaments, some parties, etc, the students can improve their Japanese.
In short, I think that there is a good balance in this school.
And I would like to give this advice to the students: try to do as much cultural exchange as you can. If you do it, certainly you would improve your Japanese. If you just say you don't like some activity, do not just prejudice without trying it; now that you are in this school, I really recommend you to try everything you can. I'm sure that the teachers' effort will be there, so everybody will make efforts as well.
Finally I would like to leave this message, although some of you may already know it: "It doesn't matter to be the number one, what it matters is to be somebody special"
So come on, and let's do our best.
