The budget for 2018 expenditure is planned to be ¥1,083.8 billion. The breakdown is as follows:

Scholarship Programs for Japanese Students (TOTAL ¥1,062.8 billion)

Program cost of scholarship loans :¥1,051.8 billion
Program cost of scholarship grants :¥10.5 billion
Program costs of scholarship donations :¥500 million

International student acceptance promotion program :¥3.8 billion
