Winter 2020 Course will be provided through online; web-based lessons

The contents of the course or the course itself are subject to change or cancel due to the current spread of the COVID-19.

  • Basic Japanese for daily use at Osaka Japanese Language Education Center

-The course is designed for foreign nationals living in Osaka, whose levels of Japanese are beginner to upper intermediate to learn basic Japanese focused mainly on conversation knowledge necessary for daily life.
- Winter course is scheduled to hold 6 classes with maximum intake of 6 person per class
- Classes are given by experienced teachers who teach regular classes (preparatory course)

1. Contents

Winter 2020 Course will be provided through online; web-based lessons

<Eligibility>

Foreigners who can not converse well in Japanese
*Applicants who live or work in Osaka under proper visa for staying in Japan during the entire course period
*Priority will be given to those who take this "Basic Japanese for daily use" course for the first time.

<Term>

Winter course is scheduled to start on November 24th, 2020 and end on February 26th, 2021.

*No lesson on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays.
*Class switches becomes impossible once course starts.

<Participation Fee (Winter course)>

  • Morning: each class per person JPY30,000
  • Afternoon: each class per person JPY30,000
  • Evening: each class per person JPY12,000
Settle the payment once after confirmation on your participation (Before the course starts)

2. Application details

<To new students (applicants who never studied in any level of the course) >

Application period

Between 9:00 am of November 10th (Tuesday) and 11:00 pm of November 12th (Thursday), 2020.

Application period may be extended from time to time. Please contact us for updated.

When number of application exceeds number of intakes, it will be decided by lottery.
The lottery is carried out by the school committee and, result will be informed to the applicant prior to the start of course.
Please refrain from coming to the school for application. Applications cannot be made at the school.

<To continuing students (applicants who have ever studied in any level of the course) >

An applicant who has ever studied in any level of the course may be able to study in the course again. But, as a rule, seating priority is given to those who apply for the course for the first time. Therefore, an applicant who wants to retake the course will be able to do so only if there are still spots left in your desired class and, remaining spots will be assigned by the school’s lottery. The lottery is carried out by the school committee and, result will be informed to the applicant prior to the start of course.

Application

Filled application needs to be faxed or posted to the school by the application date stated above.
Make sure to state desired class and contact information such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
An applicant who has faxed or posted application form by the application date does not need to come to the school .
