Changes in the Handling of Utilities (electricity and gas) at Tokyo International Exchange Center

We would like to inform you that there will be changes to the handling of utilities (electricity and gas) at Tokyo International Exchange Center as detailed below.
We plan to provide instructions sequentially for each Residence Hall.

【Before the Change】

Utilities(electricity, gas and water) are contracted under the name of Tokyo International Exchange Center, so the residents do not need to contract individually.

【After the Change】

Electricity(for room power)

Contracts should be made under the resident's individual Name. The Administration Office will apply contract on behalf of the residents under the residents’name. Payment must be made by credit card.

Electricity(for electric water heater)

Same as above "Electricity(for room power)"

Gas

Contracts should be made under the resident's individual Name. The Administration Office will apply contract on behalf of the residents under the residents’ name. The residents must attend when the gas valve is opened and closed by the supply company. Payment must be made by credit card.

Water

The contract is under the name of Tokyo International Exchange Center as before, so the residents do not need to contract individually.

【Effective Date】

From March 2026 onwards(If you move out by the end of May 2026, no action is required on this matter.)
