What is the Japanese Language Education Center? | JASSO Preparatory educational institution with preparatory courses defined by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology To play a part in the nation’s international student policy, the Center is a preparatory educational institute with preparatory courses recognized by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, which provides Japanese language and core subject education to international students aiming to advance to a higher educational institution in Japan, and it accepts mainly government-sponsored international students and students dispatched by foreign governments.
