performed using a new matrix developed by Prof. Hinou, and glycan pattern identification (MALDI glycotyping) by MALDI-TOFMS using the new matrix was conducted. I also gave a talk at a research seminar organized by Prof. Hinou, in which many Japanese researchers who attended interacted with international students at Hokkaido University and potential collaborators who participated online. In addition, I organized a web conference with top researchers from the University of Mysore and Adichunchanagiri University, where Prof. Hinou introduced his technology and established a new collaborative research network based on Prof. Hinou's latest technology. by the vegetation types significantly with the change in the stable isotopesδ 13C andδ15N values. After the soil heavy metals and trace elements analysis was finished next year, I will do the data analysis and summarize the main conclusions, and write the scientific papers for publishing in international journal. I will do similar studies in Vietnam using the soil samples in Danang area, center of Vietnam with different climate and soil types to Japan. Finally, much closer academic communication and scientific collaboration between Vietnam and Japanese should be promoted to compare the differences tropical and temperate zones in future. <
