| Profile |
| Otsuma Women's University comprises four graduate schools and five faculties, eleven departments located on three campuses. Its foundation was laid in 1908, when Kotaka Otsuma,a pioneer of women's education in Japan, set up a sewing and handicrafts school. The University has since consistently fostered high self-esteem in women and the acquisition of highly-developed skills and broad knowledge. The curriculum also emphasizes a perspective of international-mindedness and versatility in today's world of information sciences. |
