TIEC Photo Contest 2017 Application Guideline
Tokyo International Exchange Center (TIEC) holds Photo Contest for international students and Japanese students who live in TIEC, and staffs of Tokyo Academic Park*. Prizes are available for winners. We are looking forward to your participation!
*Tokyo Academic Park is a consortium of Tokyo International Exchange Center (TIEC), National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) and National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) Tokyo Waterfront.

Residents of TIEC and staff of Tokyo Academic Park and related organizations.

Please fill the Application Form and submit with your photo data by email.

Requirements for application
All works must be original and the work of the applicant named on the application. Only one (1) entry is permitted per person.
Requirements for your photo
A photo in line with the theme. It may be either color or black and white. Expenses incurred should be paid at your end. Works already published elsewhere, such as other contests, are not accepted.
Data Size: Less than 10 MB
Please put your room No. and name in the name of the file of your work (ex.A9999TiecTaro).

How to Judge
For Grand Prize, entries will be judged on the basis of creativity related with the theme by majority vote during the exhibition. Other prizes will be decided by representative or by consensus of each facility.
Photos containing recognizable models must have the permission of that person to use the image. We will not be held responsible for any claims of infringement of privacy in connection with photos submitted for the contest. Photos must not violate copyright laws. Copyright on photos submitted for the contest will remain the property of contestants, but by submitting a photo to JASSO, contestants grant JASSO permission and rights to store, display and use the photo, indefinitely on any Web site or in print, and in any advertising or promotional materials printed or online, and to exhibit the photo in public. Please note that your photo cannot be returned.
