Digital content technology, such as computer graphics and virtual reality is expected to be utilized further in medicine, biotechnology, education, art and other various fields. Especially, it greatly helps us understand things and phenomena that we cannot actually observe, such as those related to environmental issues and space exploration. DIGITAL CONTENT EXPO is launched as an international event that can be enjoyed by everyone including experts and children where they can learn about digital content technology by watching and experiencing the most recent research results and artworks in its various programs.
Prior receiving applications of “ international symposium “ will begin on the DIGITAL CONTENT EXPO WEB site on September 18.

- Talent Development Seminar
Digital Creators Competition (DCC)’s award winners or other visual content creators nominated by professors of colleges and vocational schools and selected by the selection committee receive training according to individually planned programs for visual content creative training.
As part of the training programs, seminars and symposiums will be held at DC EXPO to provide the trainees with necessary information about visual content and its industry.

- Electronic Sports (e-Sports) Festival
“e-sports” is a new competitive sport born in the digital society which uses video games.
The Japan final of “World Cyber Games 2008”, one of the largest competitions worldwide is planned to be held at DC EXPO 2008.
Also, the most recent trends and perspective as business of e-sports will be clarified through panel discussion between experts.
