Greetings

Japan Student Service Organization (JASSO) aims to support students through the main programs, namely scholarship loan programs, support programs for international students and student support programs, so that they will become creative and well-rounded leaders of the next generation. We also enhance international exchange and understanding.

During the past fiscal year, amid the unprecedented recession as well as in the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake, understanding that our most urgent task was to take necessary actions to respond to the situation,we endeavored full-heartedly to achieve the task.

This year as well, with the help of comments and requests from all quarters including schools and colleges, we will make the utmost effort to perform our roles in providing student support services at a higher level.

Today, as a core institution to lead student support services, heightened expectations for JASSO draws even more attention than ever before.
Therefore, to meet the expectations, all of us will continually strive to execute our duties truthfully, being aware of our public missions and social responsibilities.
