Sapporo International House has been established to provide accommodation for international students.  Sapporo International House actively hosts a variety of events to develop a better understanding between its residents, as well as international exchange between residents, the surrounding community and volunteer organizations.

    9th-11th floor: Rooms for married students
    3rd-8th floor: Rooms for single students
    2nd floor: Conference Room, Study Room
    1st floor: Lounge, Gymnasium Management Office

Qualification

  • International students with 'College Student' status visa, who may commute from the house to his/her own University or Junior College.
  • International students who are eager in studying.
  • International students who are interested in international exchange and who can cooperate with other residents.
  • Required recommendation from the University/College

APPLICATION

  • Before arrival and entering the university in Hokkaido
    Application should be made through your University.  Contact your supervisor and office of  the university you will be going to for application.
  • If you are already university students in Hokkaido
    Inquire the office of Sapporo International Student Center (TEL: 011-817-3615) for vacancy.  Bring or post the Application form (PDF:196KB) for application.
