The Hyogo international House was established in March, 1999 primarily to provide accommodation for international students
studying in Japan.Various events are held to promote understanding as well as interchange among residents, the local community and volunteer organizations.

Room for couple:air-conditioner,mini-kitchen,unit bathroom,

toilet,refrigerator,washingmachine,dryer,vacuum cleaner,iron,ironing board,telephone,bed,desk,chair,sofa,bookshelf,dinning table,electric cooking unit,closet,shoe box,mirror, desk lamp,bookrack.
Common use facilities
Residence Hall for singles:
TV room,Dining room,Kitchen,Laundry room(each floor), Storage room.
Residence Hall for couples: TV room (2nd floor only), Storage room.

Procedures for becoming resident

Qualification of applicants
room for single : One international student
room for couple : One international student and spouse(no children)
1)The applicant must be a student at a university , junior college(post secondary course),or technical school in Hyogo prefecture.
2) The student must have a letter of recommendation from the academic institution he attends.

Application procedure
You may apply for acceptance at your school.Bring the following documents with you when you come for your interview at the Hyogo International House:
1)Official request for admission from your school
2)Completed application form with ID photo
*If applying for couple room,you must also submit a photo of your spouse,Marriage Certificate and Certificate of Eligibility.
3)Recommendation from your school.
