Summary Report of the 2002 Japan Education Seminar (Mongolia)


1. Purpose
This Seminar is designed to promote study in Japan by providing Mongolian students and academic counselors with information about international student programs and higher education in Japan in order to help the students select the right school and course for achieving their academic goals.

3. Dates & Times: June 8(Sat.), 2002, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
June 9 (Sun.), 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

6. No. of  Visitors
Approx. 100 at each seminar, making a total of nearly 300.
Because of venue's limited capacity, admission tickets were distributed on preceding day. Visitors included high school and university students, and university instructors and officers involved in international exchange programs or Japanese language education. Seminar was advertised in newspapers by the Embassy of Japan in late May.
