JASSO held Japan Education Fair (Vietnam) as described below.
This Fair is designed to provide Vietnamese students and educators with up-to-date and correct information about Japanese higher education and research by the participating institutions and organizations in order to help the students select appropriate schools and achieve their academic pursuits, thereby promoting study in Japan.
(1) Hanoi:
Hanoi Daewoo Hotel (360 Kim Ma Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi)

(2) Ho Chi Minh City:
New World Hotel Saigon (76 Le Lai Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City)

(1) Reference service and distribution of school brochures:
Exhibitors showed reference materials and distributed school catalogs and brochures.
(2) Individual consultation:
Universities, professional training colleges and language institutes participating in the Fair gave advice to people who intend to study in Japan concerning their educational system, educational programs, admission procedures, and characteristics, etc. and also provided information about the future partnership between Japanese and Vietnamese institutions. Other exhibiting organizations provided information about their programs for consultation.
(3) Orientation:
Video presentation and panel discussion on study in Japan by JASSO staffs and former Vietnamese students in Japan
Contractor appointed by JASSO took charge of arrangements and preparation for the Fair.
