JASSO held Japan Education Fair (Vietnam) described below.


1. Objective

This Fair is designed to provide the Vietnamese students and educators with up-to-date and correct information about the Japanese higher education and research by participating institutions and organizations in order to help the students select appropriate schools and achieve their academic pursuits, thereby promoting study in Japan.

5. Program, Service, and Responsibility of Exhibitors

Japan Education Fair (Vietnam)(1) Reference service and distribution of school brochures:
Exhibitors showed reference materials and distributed school catalogs and brochures.
(2) Individual consultation:
Universities, professional training colleges and language institutes participating in the Fair gave advice to people who intend to study in Japan concerning their educational system, educational programs, admission procedures, and characteristics, etc. and also provided information about the future partnership between Japanese and Vietnamese institutions. Other exhibiting organizations provided information about their programs for consultation.
(3) Orientation:
DVD presentation and panel discussion on study in Japan were held by JASSO staffs, Embassy of Japan Embassy of Japan in Vietnam, Consulate-General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh and former Vietnamese students who have studied in Japan.
