Follow-up Research Fellowship Reports for FY 2024 No2422 (University of Miyazaki) Foreign Researcher As part of the High Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) surveillance research in Miyazaki, I collected water samples from several spot at the pond that serve as temporary habitats for migratory wild birds. This research aims to anticipate the potential spread of HPAI that may be transmitted by migratory birds from Korea, considering the recent outbreak reported in that region.
