Admission for Preparatory Courses (Osaka Japanese Language Education Center)

This is for the persons who will enter Japan and be enrolled in our school with newly acquired "Student" visa.

This is for the persons who already hold long-term visa.(Usually, we accept applications from residents in Japan after the deadline for those from overseas.)

An applicant must be a foreign national, who does not have Japanese nationality, but does have 12 years or more educational background in foreign countries other than Japan. (One that has completed high school graduation equivalent education less than 12 years is also applicable) An applicant has to have intentions to carry on his/her study at university or graduate school in Japan after studying Japanese at our center.

An applicant needs to find a contact person to begin application. A contact person needs to be able to communicate in Japanese and lives in Japan. He/she processes application on behalf of the applicant. After finding one, have the person contact the center first. Then, we deal your application through the contact person and instruct him/her to post mail all the required documents after our confirmation on the application.

Refer to "Documents required" mentioned above. Application form and relevant documents need to be brought to the school office by the contact person.

Once we confirm to process your application, you will be asked to settle application fee of JPY 20,000 in to our designated bank account (Refer to "Application Fee" mentioned above).

The school committee will screen application documents.

When you secure our admission, an admission notice will be sent to you through the contact person and, at the same time, the school, as your proxy, will begin to process your eligibility application (the eligibility necessary for obtaining student visa) for Osaka Regional Immigration Bureau. When you are granted with eligibility, we will notify it and send the certificate to the contact person. With the eligibility certificate, you will apply for the Student Visa at your local Japanese embassy or consulate and, enter Japan with the Student visa.

After you obtain Student VISA, settle School Payment (2) (see "School payment" mentioned above) by the set date.
With (a) the bank receipt, (b) admission certificate, (c) your passport and (d) resident card that you will receive at the airport, come to the school accompanied by a defrayer or contact person for registration. The details of procedures will be informed to you along the admission notice.

This is for the persons who already hold long-term visa.

NOTE :CONTENTS OF RECRUITMENT AND FEES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. ONCE PAYMENT IS COMPLETED INTO OUR BANK ACCOUNT, REFUND WILL BE BASICALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

An applicant who is foreign national (who doesn't have Japanese nationality) and who meets all the following conditions.

a. Application form (specified paper） 1pc
b. Pledge (specified paper) 1pc
c. Diploma certificate from the last schooling (original) 1pc
( It will be returned after confirmation)
d. Transcript from the last schooling (original) 1pc
e. Medical certificate 1pc
f. Photo (4cm × 3 cm) 2pcs (1 of 2 needs to be attached on the application form)
g. Copy of passport (pages where have your face photo and sticker that permits entry to Japan)
h. Copy of resident card (both sides)

※ Other document(s) can be required depending on the conditions of applicant.

In case of application, an applicant is expected to inform the school for the date of application in advance by telephone or email. After making an appointment, an applicant comes to the school office with one’s financial supporter to hand in original documents to the school.

An applicant will be asked to settle screening fee of JPY 20,000 into our designated bank account once we confirm receipt of application. Our bank details will be informed at the time.

After documents screening by the school committee, applicant goes through interview and exams on mathematics and English. An applicant will be admitted to the school based on the results and availability of the class that meets one's Japanese level.

The result will be noticed to the applicant or the designated address by post mail. The details of school registration will be informed at the time, too.

Successful applicant needs to settle the second payment (See "Payment at admission" mentioned above) into our designated account (details will be noticed along with the admission notice) by the given date. Certificate for the admission will be issued and entrance procedures will be carried out upon confirmation of receipt of the payment.
