Since I am of Japanese ancestry, I naturally developed interests in Japanese culture and language at my early age.
I desired to study at a university in Japan right after graduation from high school. I, however, did not have enough saving.
Moreover, I was not qualified for a scholarship program sponsored by the Government of Japan.
Therefore, I ended up studying at a university at home. I, however, could not give up my strong desire of getting into a Japanese university and tried the scholarship exam again.
It took me 10 months until I know the pleasing result.
