Purpose This examination is used to evaluate the Japanese language proficiency and the basic academic abilities of international students who wish to study at the undergraduate level at universities or other such higher educational institutions in Japan. 2. Follow-up Research Fellowship | JASSO International students who have returned to their countries after having studied in Japan and who are currently active in education, academic research or public administration, are invited to a Japanese university to conduct joint research with relevant academics.
