TIEC Photo Contest 2019

Tokyo International Exchange Center (TIEC) has held the "Photo Contest" for international students and Japanese students who live in TIEC, and staffs of Tokyo Academic Park*. We will dicide the grand prize of photo contest by your vote.

*Tokyo Academic Park is a consortium of Tokyo International Exchange Center (TIEC), National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) and National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) Tokyo Waterfront.

This amazing waterfall exists in Shizuoka-ken, Japan. Its cascade is fed by a volcano's spring water.
Its thin white streams resemble threads of silk, hence called "Shiraito No Taki" (white thread fall).

Taken at the Naritasan park while waiting for a very early departure. This star-trail photo, pointing to the North Star (Polaris), includes also the Great Pagoda of Peace.

Combining the beauty of the sunset and 7000 years old history can captivate your soul, and this fantastic view can make you feel completely in peace.

It was minus 9 degree Celsius that day. The whole area was covered with silence, snow and darkness. Suddenly illumination started focusing on the Biei pond. I felt goosebumps. Surreal, amazing moment of my life!

Regularly we take photos of the lovely breathtaking Sakura but witnessing this double beauty of talent and gorgeous nature at the same moment was a blessing.

Ascending the Sky Tree located in "Edo", you'll get the panoramic view of Tokyo, and then you will truly understand why it's called "Cosmopolis". The reflection of Sky Tree seems like a pendulum that controls time and space, showing the ancient and modern grand scenes of Tokyo to people.
