With the understanding of Japanese and Japanese culture, the Tokyo Japanese Language Education Center of Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) serves the purpose of teaching Japanese language and core subjects necessary for International students to enter an institution of higher education, such as undergraduate or postgraduate courses of universities, and colleges of technology in Japan. The students are proceeding on to national universities, public universities and private universities every year.
This Center used to be called as the Japanese Language School of the International Students Institute (ISI) has been providing Japanese language education for foreign students.
