This is for the persons who will enter Japan and be enrolled in our school with newly acquired "Student" visa.

This is for the persons who already hold long-term visa. (Usually, we accept applications from residents in Japan after the deadline for those from overseas.）

1.Application from overseas

This is for the persons who will enter Japan and be enrolled in our school with newly acquired "Student" visa.

  • ※The following description is the outline. Please refer to [1. Application guidelines] and [2. Admissions guide for preparatory course] for details.

Eligibility (1) An applicant must be a foreign national and do not have Japanese nationality.
・An applicant must with12 years education background at least, in foreign countries other than Japan. (If the applicant finished the high school graduation equivalent education, less than12 years also be accepted)
・An applicant must have intensions to pursue study at university or graduate school in Japan.
(2) Basically, applicants must have passed an exam equivalent to CEFR A1 level or above (Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N5 or equivalent) (※), or have at least 150 hours of Japanese language study experience. For information on the exam (※), please refer to the following file “Japanese Language Proficiency” .

A. For applicants from India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Nepal etc.

B. For applicants from countries other than those mentioned in A

How to apply:

“Contact Person” (CP) will submit the complete application documents on your behalf.

  • ※CP is someone who will act as an intermediary between the Center and the applicant, handling communication regarding the application and after enrollment. While someone residing in Japan is preferred, but overseas residents are also acceptable provided they can communicate effectively in Japanese and handle correspondence.
  • ※If you cannot find a CP, please contact us.
  • ※If the CP cannot come to the center, please contact the Center and mail the complete application documents to us.

Application fee:

Once we confirm that we process your application, you will be asked to settle application fee of JPY20,000 in to our designated bank account.

About selection:

The school committee will conduct the documents and interview screening, and decide admissions.

April Course, 2026: After late December 2025 by post mail
October Course, 2026: After late June 2026 by post mail

VISA:

When you secure our admission, an admission certificate will be sent to you through the contact person and, at the same time, the school, as your proxy, will begin to process your eligibility application (the eligibility necessary for obtaining college visa) for Tokyo Regional Immigration Bureau. When you are granted with eligibility, we will notify it and send the certificate to the contact person. With the eligibility certificate, you will apply for the College Visa at your local Japanese embassy or consulate.

We plan to have you visit the center on the designated date. When you come to the center, please bring your tuition payment receipt, admission letter, passport, and residence card (issued upon entry into Japan).

  • - If you are expected to graduate from high school etc. at the time of applying,please submit your graduation certificate and transcripts as soon as possible after graduation.
  • - Applicants from the Philippines, Viet Nam, Indonesia, Nepal, Myanmar, and China are required to submit a TB Clearance Certificate. Please make sure to check the attached document “Implementation of Pre-Entry Tuberculosis Screening.”

(1)An applicant should meet all the following requirement

  • 1. An applicant must be a foreign national and does not have Japanese nationality and must have intensions to pursue study at university or graduate school in Japan. An applicant must with12 years education background at least, in foreign countries other than Japan. (If the applicant finished the high school graduation equivalent education, less than 12 years also be accepted)
  • 2. An applicant who is already residing in Japan with a medium- to long-term residence status (visa) and who, after enrolling at this center, can continue residing in Japan until the completion of their course through extension or change of their residence status.
    *However, if an applicant will transfer to the center while enrolled at another Japanese language school or similar institution, applicant must obtain the consent of the principal of your current school.
  • 3. Basically, applicants must have passed an exam equivalent to CEFR A1 level or above (Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N5 or equivalent) (※), or have at least 150 hours of Japanese language study experience. For information on the exam (※), please refer to the following file “Japanese Language Proficiency” .

Refund:

In any case listed below, part of the tuition would be refunded from the school expenses charged at time of enrollment.
Entered the 1-year course in April while proceeded to the university /graduate school in October in the same year, and withdrew from the school at the end of September before going to the university /graduate school : Tuition of six months would be refunded.
Entered the 1 and a half year course in October while proceeded to the college /graduate school in April of the next year, and withdrew from the school at the end of March before going to the university /graduate school : Tuition of 1 year would be refunded.
Entered the 1 and a half year course in October while proceeded to the college /graduate school in October of the next year, and withdrew from the school at the end of September before going to the graduate school : Tuition of six months would be refunded.
