Q. How to confirm EJU test scores?

A. Test scores may be confirmed on your EJU Online MyPage. For further details, please refer to the following website.

Q. From what time of day can the exam scores be confirmed?

A. Scores may be confirmed from 12:00 midnight on the day that the scores are announced.

Q. I have forgotten my EJU Online MyPage ID and password.What do I do now?

A. If you can remember the e-mail address and date of birth registered on your MyPage, access the following items from the log-in screen: “Forgotten your MyPage ID? Click here,” or “Forgotten your password? Click here.” This makes it possible to confirm your MyPage ID and reset your password.
If you cannot remember the e-mail address, please contact the EJU Uketsuke-Center (0570-55-0585). Examinees taking the EJU overseas should contact the EJU Overseas Representative in the city where the exam was given.

Q. My score report has not arrived.What do I do now?

A. Postal mailings of score reports to examinees taking the EJU in Japan were eliminated from 2021. All scores may be confirmed from EJU Online. Overseas examinees may also confirm their scores from EJU Online, although score reports are continuing to be issued for the time being.

Q. What if I am unable to view my scores on EJU Online?

A. The following reasons may have caused this situation.

Q. When I attempted to register my examination information on the “EJU Online” Score Confirmation Exclusive Page, the system locked up.What should I do?

A. Five or more inputting errors, the system locks up and cannot be used for 3 hours. Wait for 3 hours, then attempt to register again.

Q. How do I submit my scores to the school that I wish to attend?

A. Universities or other schools planning to use EJU scores are required to inquire about those scores at the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO). Examinees are unable to personally submit their exam scores.
If you want to personally confirm your own scores, it is possible to print out the “Score Confirmation Report” from your MyPage information. In this regard, mailings of Score Reports and issuing of Score Certifications were eliminated from 2021.

Q. What is the Score Confirmation Report?

A. The Score Confirmation Report is a form to confirm your own exam scores. It is not for providing a certification of those scores.

Q. How can I obtain my Score Certificate?

A. At present, Score Certificate will not be issued. Universities and other schools will not ask you for Score Certificate.Instead, they may directly contact the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) to inquire about specific examinee scores.
“Score Confirmation Reports” are available for printing from EJU Online that are for confirming your own scores. They are not intended for use for external certification.

Q. Is it possible for group application coordinators to confirm the scores of specific examinees (when taking the EJU in Japan)?

A. Since 2022, group coordinators have been able to confirm examinee scores online regardless of the application format. However, it is necessary to obtain the consent of examinees to access their scores at the time that applications are made. Group coordinators, meanwhile, are only permitted to engage in online confirmation of scores from the first EJU session of 2022.

Q. Is it possible to learn my scores by telephone, fax, e-mail or other methods?

No. EJU examination results cannot be provided by telephone, fax or e-mail. Exam results may only be confirmed from your EJU Online MyPage information or Score Report (limited to overseas examinees from 2021).

Q. I have lost my Score Report.Can it be reissued?

A. No, Score Reports cannot be reissued. You may confirm your scores from your EJU Online MyPage information.

Q. What do I do if I am unable to print out my Score Confirmation Report at a Seven-Eleven store (taking the EJU in Japan)?

A. It is not possible to print out Score Confirmation Report PDF files at Seven-Eleven stores. This is due to limits placed on PDF files. Screen shots may be taken of Score Confirmation Reports for photo printouts, although the image quality will be poor.
PDF files can be printed out, however, at Lawson or other convenience store outlets. Other methods may also be used for such report print outs (outputting from school printers, etc.).
