For EJU Examinees with Disability

Examinees wishing to request testing accommodations upon taking EJU due to illness, injury, disability or other special needs, are requested to carefully read the '[For 2026] Information on Accommodations for EJU [Guidance for Persons with Disabilities]' and submit application documents during the designated application period prior to applying to take the examination. Regarding the application procedures, as a general rule, submission of a physician’s medical certificate or other document verifying the need for testing accommodation is required. Examinees who use hearing aids, crutches, wheelchairs, or other devices or supports in their everyday activities are also requested to apply for testing accommodations to use these items during the exam.

If you need to have a prior consultation, please carefully read page 6 of the '[For 2026] Information on Accommodations for EJU [Guidance for Persons with Disabilities],' titled "(1)Consult with JASSO in advance (if necessary)," and contact JASSO by email.
If an unforeseen accident or illness (such as traffic accident, injury, sudden illness, worsening symptoms) occurs after submitting your EJU application, resulting in the need for testing accommodations, you may still apply for accommodations even if the application period has closed. Please contanct the details below immediately. However, due to circumstances at the examinaton sites, it may not always be possible to accommodate the requested testing accommodations.
