G７国際高等教育機構サミット
2017年（平成29年）9月27日水曜日、イタリアのトリノにおいて、「G７国際高等教育機構サミット（The G7 International Higher Education Agencies Summit）」が開催されました。本サミットは2011年（平成23年）のフランスからG7開催国で毎年開催されています。
参加機関
British Council、 DAAD、 Campus France、 IIE、 Uni-Italia、JASSOといったG7諸国の高等教育機構をはじめとする10機関
テーマ
- 「新たなる挑戦：知識の拡散と新たなる恐怖」
- The New Challenges: Knowledge Spreading vs New Fears
ラウンドテーブルの議題
- 「国際的な学術協力がいかに社会と経済の必要性を満たすかを理解する」
- Understanding how the international academic cooperation will meet the needs of the society and the economy
- 「危険地域での国際学術協力をいかに改善するか。テロに関する恐怖と輸出入規制を超えて橋をかける。」
- How to improve international Academic cooperation in critical regions. Building bridges: beyond terrorism related fear and embargo restrictions
- 「受入れ機関に対する国際学術交流と避難民の影響」
- International academic mobility effects and refugees impact in the host Institutions
- 「研究の国際化における各国国際高等教育機構の役割」

会議の最後には、高等教育交流支援機関による共同声明「国際高等教育機構サミット2017トリノ宣言」（以下、「トリノ宣言」）が定義されました。

トリノ宣言は、より多くの関係者に理解されることが重要であることから、同会合の参加機関がそれぞれの言語に翻訳し、各機関のウェブサイトに掲載することとなりました。
